you say goodbye and i say hello

too much excitement for one weekend

friday, was sehr's last night in toronto

before she left for dubai

so one last night out was needed

which always ends with a trip to

mcdonalds (LOLZ)

saturday, michelle had a small get together

and to my surprise michelle and jaybee

made me the cutest (+most hilarious)

travel care package ever

along with yummy cupcakes

sunday, was my last shift of the summer

laura and i coulden't stop laughing

+dancing

ann popped into the store

with some amazing flowers

i 'm so overwhelmed by everyone's kindness

i seriously have the best friends ever, thankyou

i've had this song on repeat the past few days

makes me miss going to the social

i said no more teachers, and no more books

yesterday marked the completion

of my summer school course

and i could not be more relieved

until

i woke up this morning and realized i have

etc.

before i leave to tours, france next thursday

as much as there is to do

i could not be more stoked

now i'm feelin' so fly like a G6

birthday celebrations are always so much fun

&alicia's birthday was no exception

the girls all got together beforehand

and had a blast dancing around and taking silly pictures

i learned that night, that sometimes things don't always go as planned

(hahaha)

the trick is to laugh things off & never take it too seriously

this will be my new motto for the rest of the summer :)

i have always loved accessories/clothing items that are

unique and one of a kind.

they have the ability to make even the simplest outfits

unique.

julia has always been exceptionally creative

crafting unique items from unexpected materials.

over the past year, julia has created numerous hairbands

made from everything from ribbon, to feathers to sequins

and even vintage jewlery

when she asked me to shoot some photos of her hairbands

i coulden't resist! (neither could alessia and jaybee)

we all had so much fun posing and being silly

last month

while downtown shopping with nicole and acey

we were stopped by the l'oreal feria team

who were running a street style contest

they asked to take our photos

so we thought, why not?

i wasn't a huge fan of my outfit that day

but i am a huge fan of street style blogs

such as facehunter and the sartorialist

and it was a fun(ny) experience haha
